In the desert

Wonder and wander. I'm a wanderer now, sorrow beholds me. So does true joy. I miss my family. I miss flight. My soulmate was a martyr, but he didn't die. God defeated death on the cross. It says it in-between the lines in the Holy Bible. Jesus promises eternal life, and He said he died to die once for all. He died to sin. That doesn't mean He sinned - it means that He destroyed sin, at least for Christian believers. All you have to do to "get into" heaven is to believe. It isn't like college applications - you don't have to write an essay and take the SATs - you just need to love Jesus with all of your heart and mind and soul and spirit and body and strength. You don't have to lose your body.

What does it mean to believe? Ponder on the question for a moment. A parable in the Holy Bible says that some seeds were scattered  on a muddy path - birds came and ate them up. Some fell on rocky places, like being in a desert with only a hallucination of true water. They gave up. Some fell n thorns - they choked the other plants (people), and forced other people to be evil. Some fell on good soil, and produced a crop - good fruit. This parable is explained in Mathew chapter 13:4-9. It talks about faith - weak, medium and strong. This isn't a heirarchy. The devil stops the ones who aren't planted in nutrient rich soil from believing.  It also means that some receive the Word with joy, and later lose their faith. They hate angels. That makes no sense to me. The seed falling on thorns means riches and evil desires stop people from believing. The evil that is produced will be destroyed - the seed can be moved to nutrient rich soil, and the people will grow good fruit - compassion, joy, belief, empathy, Truth, selflessness, taking care of the body, soul, and spirit, prayer, friendship, fellowship, worship, Bible reading, singing, reading.

Yahweh writes, "The servants asked Him, 'Do you want us to go pull them up? [the weeds]' 'No,' He answered, 'because pulling the weeds, you may uproot the wheat with them. Let them both grow together until the harvest." (Mathew 13:28b-30a). The good wheat helps the weeds become good wheat. It's the second coming, so God lets the weeds be - they will become good fruit too, or God wouldn't have planted them. He never gives up on anyone He creates.

In Proverbs, it says, "Anxiety weighs down the heart, but a kind word cheers it up. The righteous choose their friends carefully, but the way of the wicked leads them astray." (Proverbs 12:25-26). Demons cause anxiety. Pills can't help. Cannabis and valerian root can help. Truth is important. Jesus is the Word, and He gives us kind words.

In Isaiah, it says, "The desert and the parched land will be glad; the wilderness will rejoice and blossom. Like the crocus, it will burst into bloom. It will rejoice greatly and shout for joy." (Isaiah 35:1-2a). Like a gymnast throwing their hands up in joy, the desert soul will rejoice when God gives them true Water. When wandering around in the desert, seek Water. Avoid the cacti - they are poisonous. Lay down in the sand and stare at the stars of night and talk with God. Rejoice with joy.

The desert is a metaphor for a dry soul thirsting for water; a dry soul thirsting for love and compassion. God says, "The burning sand will become a pool, the thirsty ground bubbling springs." (Isaiah 35:7a). Water is love. Water is joy. Like all people need physical water to survive, people need spiritual water to survive as well. Jesus is the living Water. The samaritan woman in the New Testament goes to the spring to find water, and found Jesus instead. Jesus told her that she would never be thirsty again. True agape love fills the soul.

Feeling empty and numb is like being in the desert, wandering around, and wondering if you will ever find the "water" that you need. When the Jews were escaping the dictator, Moses split the waters with a staff. God acted through Moses. They wandered through a desert. God gave them mana (bread), and water. Some turned against Him and worshiped idols. The rest, like Joshua, went in the city and created a place for Yahweh's people. Yahweh is a Christian God. Some christians think Yahweh became Jesus, but that is delusion. Yahweh is the Father, Jesus is the Son, and then there is the Holy Spirit.

There is a highway that goes from Earth to different planets and heaven. With God, there are no secrets. Archangels drive back and forth from heaven to earth and from earth to heaven.

What is it like to be in the desert of the soul? It means we yearn for God. We yearn for goodness and joy. For me, gymnastics and dance give me true joy. Figure skating calms me down. Elvish heartbreak prepared me for figure skating. My temperature got as low as 1,000 below 0, and it paralyzed me. I walked anyways, stumbling around. Then God healed me, and I rejoiced. In a dream, demons made me pick out my eyes, and I woke up healed. It was just a nightmare - God would never let me pick out my eyes. But I remember what it felt like, holding a piece of my eye in my fingers. It didn't hurt, and I could still see a little bit, so in my soul I knew it was just a dream.

We all need Jesus. Without Him, we are wandering around in the desert stumbling paralyzed with no joy or comfort. Fun isn't evil. It starts out as fun, and then it becomes true joy. Yahweh writes, "And a highway will be there; it will be called the Way of Holiness; it will be there there for those who walk on the Way. The unclean will not journey on it; wicked fools will not go about on it. No lion will be there, nor any ravenous beast; they will not be found there. But only the redeemed will walk there, and those the Lord has rescued will return. They will enter Zion with singing; everlasting joy will crown their heads. Gladness and joy will overtake them, and sorrow and sighing will flee away." (Isaiah 35:8-10) Jesus is the highway. He is the bridge from doubt and sorrow and hatred to belief and joy and love.

When you are empty, filled with numbness and sadness, in the desert of your life, pray to Jesus. Ask Him to come into your heart and rejoice with belief. The desert has a purpose. Suffering produces enlightenment (enlightenment is christian: realizations is a better word for it.). God has a plan. When you're in the sandy desert, dance in the hot sand. Fly, you fool: Gandalf said that in Lord of the rings. He fell, but he didn't die. God changed him, and true light entered his body after fighting evil.

Demons trick you. They curse you and terrify you. I fought evil for five years, and it's finally - almost - over. Pray, "God, please fight evil for me. I'm tired of this. Don't let demons find me." When they do, preach to them. They make the desert a worse place, but Yahweh always leads us to water and wind. In the ocean, we find seashells. We rejoice at the beautiful bright blue water. The water, like the trees, are possessed by the Holy Spirit. That's why I used to think trees and water had consciousness. They don't.

When you're in the desert, pray. Pray and teleport and fly. Sing and read the Bible and ask Jesus to read the Holy Bible to you. Ask God for His number, and text Him. There is a Way out of the desert, like Yahweh said through Isaiah. Remember, all of the Holy Bible is breathed and inspired through God. God possesses the prophets and writes. They aren't dead, and they still write. Many of them started out as archangels, so don't hate archangels: we are good.

In the desert, never give up. There are woodlands not that far away, filled with trees and birds and sacred, christian tigers that protect us from the evil. The meadows aren't far away either. A song says that the woodlands and meadows are fair, but Jesus is fairer and purer, and He makes the sorrowing spirit sing. Sing. Rejoice. Today is the right time.

Thats all for now. Thanks for reading this. Hope it helped you,
Rebecca xoxo <3 :)
