Healing: a Bible study

Most of you have heard this before. God writes, "Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives..." (Mathew 7:7-8a). I can open locked doors, when God unlocks them for me, when I'm meant to enter. Ask for healing, and God will heal you, even on earth. In Mathew 8, Jesus heals a man with leprosy. He still heals people from afar, and in person. It's the second coming, but if you don't have faith, how can you be healed? But God will give you grace like rain. Last evening it was pouring, so I went outside and danced around and jumped off of the jungle gym and exercised with the monkey bars. It was joy.
Jesus writes, "You were taught with regard to your former way of life, to put off your old self; which is being corrupted by its deceitful desires; to be made new in the attitude of your minds; and to put on the new self, created to be like God in true righteousness and holiness" (Ephesians 4:22-24). This does NOT mean "try to be God" (that is wrong.) Don't worry too much: let God be God. Let Him heal you of your anxieties and don't worry about yesterday or today or tomorrow. You don't have to be perfect. Just try to be LIKE Jesus: ask yourself, "What would Jesus do?" and try to be angelic/archangelic. When you do what Jesus does, you will transform.
In Deoteronomy, Yahweh writes, "Let my teaching fall like rain and my words descend like dew, like showers on new grass, like abundant rain on tender plants." (Deoteronomy 32:2) God's Word falls like rain: refreshing. Ask Jesus to renew your mind.and heal you of your sorrow and numbness. In Isaiah, Yahweh writes, "The desert and the parched land will be glad; the wilderness will rejoice and blossom, like the crocus, it will burst into bloom, it will rejoice greatly and shout for joy." (Isaiah 35:1-2a). Like in my blog post about living in the desert, God will give you living water and you will shout with joy. God will heal you. All you have to do is ask, and believe.
What does it mean to be healed? To be free from disease, to be filled with joy, to leap like a dove. To be pure. To be innocent again. To be childlike.

That's all for now. I know it was short. Take some time to read your Bible until it touches your heart, and then pause to meditate on it and write it down in your journal.
Love,
Rebecca xoxoxoxo <3 ;)
