New vocabulary and an attempt at philosophical writing

Poiesis is the process of emergence of something that did not previously exist.

Semiotics is the study of signs and symbols and their use or interpretation.

Patristic means relating to the early Christian theologians.

    Of darkness and light

How do we know what is real? What is real? What is reality? What emerges from suffering, and chaos, and darkness? In darkness, we shine bright and find out who we are. We emerge from our cocoons. Do we know we exist because we can feel, or is it because we believe we exist? What if we do not, and it is all an illusion? Are we just asleep, dreaming that we exist?

What symbols do you find to be interesting? What do they teach you? How is evil pedagogical, how is good weak? Is goodness just some poiesis from an eternal struggle with forces of darkness? Is reality an illusion? Are we illusions as well?

Because I dream, I exist. And I do wholeheartedly seek immortality. I seek to feel intensely, and to truly be. To struggle with myself and become something better, something wiser, something more free. What is necessary for happiness? How can we find it, and hold onto it tightly?

When we try to learn, we grow. When we are challenged, we change. That is alright. We must emerge from the pit of darkness. That is not all there is.
