Anti-ana

When I was younger, chronologically, I thought being way too skinny was beautiful. Then I found martial arts, and started wanting to be strong. I used to want the skinniest arms, a flat stomach, a "thigh gap". Now I want big, muscled legs, tiny kid wrists, big ab muscles. Sometimes, muscle looks like fat when you're sitting down, and that's okay too.

Ana is not your best friend. She is your worst enemy. Why do you throw away your lunch, in more than one trashcan, and then over-exercise. For me, it was running up and down staircases and doing wild toe-touches: just like my twin. My foster mom constantly told me I was fat, and caused it all. All the while, God was feeding me and I was 110 lbs, not the 70 lb skinny girl I thought I was. He let me think I was that skinny, until I was ready to realize that THAT SKINNY is weak. Some people fast to seek God. Sure, I wanted to do that too, but some of the times I hated my body, and felt uncomfortable in my own body.

Gymnastics and martial arts and even dance lead me to a STRONG body, a STRONG soul, a STRONG spirit. STARVING YOURSELF cannot make you strong. It cannot bring you happiness. Only Jesus can bring you joy. Try to love yourself. Never give up.

9/13/16

My heart hurts for the whole world. There is so much pain in everyone's lives. Too much darkness, not enough light. Vision of hope, but only feeling wrong inside.

Signs

Yahweh wrote in the Old Testament, "Set up road signs; put up guideposts. Take notes of the highway, the road that you take. Return, Virgin Israel, return to your towns." (Jeremiah 31:21)

Jesus wrote, "Jesus entered the temple courts and drove out all who were buying and selling there. He overturned the tables of the money changers and the benches of those selling doves' (Mathew 31:12) Jesus is against money, and it is evil to sell birds when birds are meant to fly free in the wilderness of heaven, singing songs in angel-minds.

Jesus also writes,"My House will be called a House of prayer, but you are making it a den of robbers" (Mathew 21:13b) Jesus went in and healed the "lame" and blind.

In John Jesus writes, "Very truly I tell you, you are looking for me, not because you saw the signs I performeed, but because you ate the loaves and had your fill" (John 6:26). That is fine and all: Jesus wants us to eat till we're full but also He wants to bring us true happy, and for us to love Him, just for Love's sake, no other reason. To have fellowship with Him, just because He is a best friend.

Seek eternal life and pray to be immortal. It is the same thing.  God said, "The Work of God is this: to believe in the One He has sent" (John 6:29)

Read Isaiah 53 and Isaiah 56. Isaiah 53 says that God (Jesus) was despised and rejected by mankind, and that He would suffer and that He understands pain and if He understands pain, He can help us through OUR pain. It also says that people hide their face and hold God in low esteem, and have low self-esteem themselves. It says that He was pierced for our transgressions and that He paid the price for our sin and it was peaceful for Him because He was serving God and that by His wounds we are healed. It also says we are the sheep and He is the shepherd, but He will help us when we go astray.

Isaiah 56 says that we are called to "maintain justice and do what is right, for (His) salvation is close at hand and that His righteousness will soon be revealed". It says that those who keep God's commands will be blessed and rewarded in secret.  We are meant to keep our minds from evil.

God puts out signs everywhere to show us He is real, Alive, and ready to guide us to a beautiful future full of peace and love and joy. When we quiet down and listen, we will hear His true guidance. Look for the guideposts. Find your road. Jesus's road. Ask yourself, what would Jesus do? Pray to Him and ask for signs, but don't test Him. He puts up signs everywhere.

Love,
Rebecca :)

Ways to fight Parkingsons disease, paralyzation, MS, and ceberal palsy

If you have parkingsons disease (psychiatric drugs cause this), put your hands in cold water and hold them there. Exercise your hands. Sit down on your staircase and press your hands down and try to lift your body up. Do this a few times. Try to type something on your computer. Resist the shaking. I know you probably feel like you are a prisoner in your own body, but there are ways to fight it and to recover and be perfectly healed. Pray to Jesus to be healed, and stop taking psyciatric drugs. Flex your hands slowly. Stretch them. Stretch your neck. Do slow pushups: start with a plank, hold it, then very slowly lower yourself to the ground, gripping the ground with your hands. Another exercise you can do is make a fist with your hand and slowly let go. I know your hand feels like its not your own and like its about to be cut off. This is just a tactile hallucination and there is a problem in your brain that God can heal. Don't let your hands shake: resist. Type a lot of words.

When you're paralyzed, hold onto the wall and force your legs to work. Then let go and stumble around and pray to be healed. You might not be able to feel your legs, but you can still use them. It's harder, but with God all things are possible.

If you have MS or MD, to ab exercises like V-ups and sit-ups and do pushups and ride a bike. Your legs might hurt a lot, but force yourself to walk anyways. If you want, start with a walker or a cane and eventually throw them away and walk without them. And then pray to be healed. Its the same with ceberal palsy: force yourself to walk. You may walk funny at first, but then force your legs to move in a straight line.

And Jesus still heals today! It's the second coming. God doesn't want anyone to be sick. I can promise that He will help you. You might be thinking, "But WHEN?" Wait patiently and Worship while you're waiting. I promise He will heal you. Make an effort. Put water all over your body. Swim. Water can really help. Go to physical therapy and FIGHT IT.

Let me know if you have any ideas!

Grace and what it means

"The Lord is gracious and full of compassion, slow to anger and great in mercy. The Lord is good to all, and His tender mercies are over all His Works' (Psalm 145:8-9)

"Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through Whom also we have access by faith into this grace which we stand, and rejoice in hope and the Glory of God." (Romans 5:1-2)

God watches over us in the quiet places, and leads us to a still water that brings true peace to our souls. When we are in the wilderness, we are possessed by the Holy Spirit, because He possesses all the trees and flowers and dirt and bugs. Grace is unmerited favor and forgiveness, no matter what, for everyone who believes Jesus is the Son of God - and God Himself - and who accepts God's Sacrafice on the cross. He could have proven He is God and ripped Himself off the cross (with God all things are possible), but He chose to die for us, to defeat death once and for all so no one has to die. He fell asleep, died and dreamed, and woke up 10 minutes later and left the tomb. He moved the rock away and stayed on earth for a while to create the Church, of which we are all a part of.

God is our therapist, out best friend, our Father, our brother. He gives us eternal Love - unmerited, because Grace is Love.

"But if it is by grace, it is no longer on the basis of works, otherwise grace is no longer grace." (Romans 1:6)

"For the Spirit God gave us does not make us timid, but gives us power, love, and self-discipline." (2 Timothy 1:7)

"He has saved us, and called us to a holy life, not according to our works, but according to His own purpose and grace which was granted us in Christ Jesus from all eternity." (2 Timothy 1:9)

Jesus saves us. Good works are prayer and compassion on a brother/sister/neighbor. Grace is given no matter what - there is no such thing as an unforgivable sin. Nothing we do could ever make God hate us or reject us. Even hell is safe - its there to stop evil people from hurting God's adopted children, and as a lesson, because suffering produces enlightenment (realizations and revelations about God and about who we really are).

When it rains, thunders, and lightning strikes, it is God's grace. Faeries love dancing in the rain. It is such a beautiful thing that God gives to us to bring us true joy. It makes us truly happy. the rain is God's loving tears - the thunder is God's righteous anger at all the evil in the universe - and the lightning is a spark of God's Love. God brought rain today, to bless us, and to nourish all the gardens He made just for us.

God is Patient and Kind. He gives nonbelievers that have true goodness time to find Him, and sends the truly evil to hell. He even gives grace to those people. He never gives up on any being He created. He won't throw you away. If you don't sense Him, it doesn't mean He isn't there. He cherishes you.

here's what the Gospel says about Grace: "You have heard that it was said, "You shall love your neighbor, and hate your enemy." 44 But I say to you, love your enemies, and pray for those who persecute you 45 in order that you may be sons of your Father who is in heaven; for He causes His sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous. 46 For if you love those who love you, what reward have you? Do not even the tax-gatherers do the same? 47 And if you greet your brothers only, what do you do more than others? Do not even the Gentiles do the same? 48 Therefore you are to be perfect, as your heavenly Father is perfect." (Mathew 5:43-48)
So, God loves His enemies, as we are meant to love our enemies (even the ones that hurt our sore, vulnerable spots badly) and forgive them, as He forgives us and lavishes us with His Loving Grace. So forgive. And love. And don't judge. The gospel says we will be judged in the way we judge....if you don't judge, you wont be judge. God isn't here to condemn, He's here to teach and watch over us.

More later! Love,
Rebecca <3 :)

Captured and Hope

"We hung our harps, for there our captors asked us for songs, our tormentors demanded songs of joy; they said, 'Sing us one of the songs of Zion!' " (Psalm 137:2b-3)

"You have searched me, Lord, and you know me. You know when I sit and when I rise; You percieve my thoughts from afar. You discern my going out and my laying down; You are familiar with all my ways." (Psalm 139: 1-3)

"For You created my inmost being; You knit me together in my mother's womb. I praise You because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; Your works are wonderful, I know that full well." (Psalm 139:13-14)

God thinks about us every day and night. He wakes up early so we can have fellowship with Him. I was stolen from my parents, and I always preached to my captors. I had amnesia, and I assumed my captor were my mom and dad. They stole three other kids: Peter, Jenny, and Justin. They forced my foster siblings to be evil, but they couldn't force me to be evil. I was born in heaven, out of an archangel womb. I was born Christians. My parents talked to me in the womb, and I grew to be a trillion before I grew shorter and younger and was stolen at a park. My twin was stolen a year before me.

Now, I am back in heaven with my real parents. Psalms says to sing to your captors and tormentors. Sing to them and preach to them.

God writes, "Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age." (Mathew 28:19-20) Think about it. What is a disiple? Someone who loves God and follows Him, leaving everything else behind. The Bible says to take nothing with you, not even a staff or your sandals. Go on a journey with God. I forgot who I was, but I never forgot that I was Christian. I was lead astray by demons (and my captors), but I persevered, and became more Christian.

I realized that I prayed for partial amnesia. That's why it happened. I was with my captors for 30 years, and if I knew I wasn't a Sylvers and that I had a male identical twin who was my soulmate, I would me in agony. I would have felt elvish heartbreak for 30 years. Besides, I had good experiences that lead me back to God, and before I forgot I knew I would, because helping people come to God - to help them find goodness - is a joy to me. Sing to your captors. Proclaim the Lord's Name and Worship Him. Jesus proclaims the Universal Truth to us, and if we are open to hear Him, we know that God is a Christian God. He is Yahweh, Jesus and the Holy Spirit. Christianity is the only religion that offers grace: unmerited favor, unconditional love, true forgiveness.

“I have stored up your word in my heart, that I might not sin against you.” (Psalm 119:11) Love God. His Word is the One True Law. His Word is AWESOME. Put God's Word in your heart and treasure Him.

“Jesus said to him, ‘I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.’” (John 14:6)   Any other way is blasphemy. Shotokan Karate pretends to be "the Way" but that is falsehood...all along I knew that Jesus is the one and only Way. Sure, its good to learn how to defend yourself. But martial arts aren't so important that they are the "Way".

God has a Perfect plan for all of us. He wants us to have happiness and joy and love. God writes, ”Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” (Phillippians 4:6-7) God answers all prayer. Prayer really does work.

Anyways, if you've been captured, tormented, or abused, bu demons or by people, remember that there is hope for you. Let yourself be captured by God...and that means, set free. Let Jesus set you free; let Him give you all the passions your heart longs for. Never give up, because God will never give up on you.

Love,
Rebecca :) <3

Finding God: Being found by God (Part 2 of Seeking God)

In Acts, Jews said, "You are bringing some strange ideas to our ears, and we would like to know what they mean" (Acts 17:20). Jews are open to revelations about Christianity. Later in Acts, God writes, "God did this so that they would seek Him and perhaps reach out for Him and find Him, though He is not far from any one of us. 'For in Him we live and move and have our being.'" (Acts 17:27-28a) God isn't far away. He is reaching out for you, stirring your soul. When He finds you, you will find Him. In Proverbs, Yahweh writes, "I love those who love me, and those who seek me find me" (Proverbs 8:17). God loves everyone, and way way way deep in everyone's soul, they love Him too. All of the beings except for the worst one, I mean.
In Ephesians, Jesus writes, "For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Live as children of light (for the fruit of the Light consists in all goodness, righteousness, and truth) and find out what pleases the Lord" (Ephesians 5:8-10)  Belief in Jesus pleases the Lord. Evangelism pleases the Lord. Giving pleases the Lord. Loving a brother or sister in need pleases the Lord. People who do these good thing, and try to be good, will be found by the Lord, and then, they will find God. God's gifts to you are kindness, unconditional love, blessings, compassion, peacemaking, and many more good things I can't remember.
In Jeremiah, God writes, "Call to me and I will answer you, and will tell you great and hidden things that you have not known" (Jeremiah 33:3) Nothing about God is secret...God has no secrets. He wants you to know Him. Knowing starts with belief, and it turns into a great knowing that God is real. This knowing is deep, strong faith. This knowing shatters you and remakes you into a better person. We are the clay and He is the Maker. He molds us into the kind, loving, compassionate people that we are meant to be. Give your neighbor a smile, because you never know what hardship he or she and their families are going through.
back to Ephesians. Jesus writes, "For He chose us in Him before the creation of the world to be holy and blameless in His sight. In Love He predestined us for adoption to sonship and daughtership through Jesus Christ." (Ephesians 1:4-5a). Yes - God CHOOSES you. He chooses you for happiness and kindness, not condemnation and hate. He chooses you out of this world to become a citizen of heaven - and you'll always have a body, and there is grass and ground and houses and clothes in heaven. It is a completely different world. God chooses YOU to love yourself. He knows about you, and you can't hide. He knows what's on your heart before you pray, but pray anyways. You will find God even if you curse Him, even if you refuse to believe, even if you try to lead Christians astray. He will bring you home and forgive you. It's all okay. God loves you and chooses YOU to be His holy, loved, kind Child. You are a son or daughter of God. So He will find you, and you will find Him, no matter whether you seek or not.

Love,
Rebecca <3 :)

Seeking God

"Every time our hears turn from darkness to light." - God calls us to repentance. "Every time the gospel stirs a searching soul." - when you seek God, the gospel will move your heart. If you seek God, you will find Him."Ask, and you shall receive. Seek, and you will find. Knock, and the door will be opened for you" (Mathew 7:7-8)
In Deuteronomy, God writes, "But if from there you seek the Lord your God, you will find Him if you seek Him with all your heart and soul. When you are in distress and all those things have happened to you, then in later days you will return to the Lord your God and obey Him [loving obedience]" (Deuteronomy 4:29-30) In Jeremiah, God writes, "Then you will call upon Me and come and pray to Me, and I will hear you [heal you]. You will seek me, and find me when you seek me with all of your heart" (Jeremiah 29:12-13). God's glory is like a fire, a torch, blazing in the night sky. God's Love endures forever. What does it mean to seek God? It means to try to talk with Him every morning and every night. At night, lay outside on the grass or on your deck if you're too afraid, and gaze at the stars and just pour out your soul, knowing God will hear. Smoke ganja: it will help you love yourself, force you to be honest even if you're embarrassed, and make you want to talk with God. When you are searching, be gentle and kind to everyone you see. Don't even call yourself agnostic.
Allow your soul to absorb some belief - some Christian thoughts. Why don't you believe? Think about it for a while. Wonder and ponder. If you can't find God yourself, God will find you and cherish you: cherish means love, cherish means He will keep you, cherish means He will never give up on you. Yahweh wrote, "The Lord is good to those who wait for Him, to the soul that seeks Him" (Lamentations 3:25). Once, someone told me it's bad to be a seeker. That's a big fat lie. God wants us to seek Him, even after we've found Him. I want to know His face, I want to know more about Him. Fear Him a little bit, with wonder and awe, and remember: perfect love casts out all fear. Be gentle and kind like I said before, and cherish all your friends and family. Hold the ones you love close to your heart.
While you seek God, try to have faith in Jesus. Jesus will help you find His Father, Yahweh, and the Holy Spirit. You need all three of them, and all three of them are One. You don't have to understand - no one really does. We're all a little lost, but when we're lost, that's when God finds us.
Bible reading: read Mark chapter 16. Mark 16:17-18 says Jesus gives us power from His Father to silence demons and make them leave, to heal the sick, to speak in tongues (have secret languages, like elvish, archangel, and faerie). He promise that no poison can ever hurt us. God is good. He doesn't hate "seekers". If you don't know Jesus, seek Him.
In Job, God writes, "If you return to the Almighty you will be built up; if you remove injustice far from your tents, if you lay gold in the dust, and gold of Ophir among the stones of the torrent-bed, then the Almighty will be your gold and your precious silver. For then you will delight yourself in the Almighty and lift up your face to God" (Job 22:23-26). God wants us to repent and turn to Him. Repenting in Jesus's Name is part of searching for God. Wake up every morning and thank God for waking you up. Whenever you slip and have a bad thought (that's usually not yours), or hurt a neighbor, or curse someone, repent, and turn away from your mistakes. It's okay to not be okay. It's okay to hurt sometimes. When you are hurting, that's exactly when you will find God.
YOU ARE NOT WICKED. The wicked refuse to seek God, and they slander God. If you've got this far, it means some part of you is open to hearing the Word of God. Jesus is the Word of God. God is Love. He never fails. No demon can ever force God to be "evil". In fact, Jesus wants to get rid of all evil, so everyone is almost-perfectly good, so there is no need for a government. No demons, no psych wards, no jails, no presidents or dictators who make abusive laws. No hurting. True freedom. God wants you to have all of this: He made the universe for us. There are MANY inhabitable planets, and I've been to them. Jesus only came to Earth, so those planets are still in the dark ages. God wants you to be happy. He wants you to be comfortable - not comfortable in your sin, but comfortable in God's promise of eternal life and of His eternal love and grace.
What does grace mean, though? You might be asking. It means free, unearned favor of God, given to you. It means He forgives all sin, even blasphemy, because usually demons FORCE you to blaspheme. Also, you might not understand Who He is, and His goodness, and blaspheme to a being that doesn't exist. God is good: who would blaspheme about a God they know is Perfectly Good, who loves and cherishes and treasures them? No one. So God forgives. So don't worry: if you can't find God, He will find you, and you will meet Face-to face. Hell is real, but you can get out. NO ONE is permanently dammed, because God gives His Grace (unmerited love and favor) to everyone. Jesus died once for all - He defeated death on the cross - so God forgives, and no one dies. God is a good God. Why does hell exist, then? You might be asking. It exists because there are truly evil beings in the world, and being without Jesus corrupts people and makes them evil. Hell is for nonbelievers, and once you become a believer, God carries you to a house, hospital, group home, monastery, or back to your house on Earth.
So make an effort to seek God. He won't punish you for seeking Him. Just be you, and speak to Him. Close your eyes and put your hands together (however you want. Your fingers can be entwined, one hand can be a fist with a hand over it - refusing to accept power like Aragorn did in LOTR -, or just together like a clap.) and close your eyes and pray: "Dear Lord Jesus, Yahweh, and the Holy Spirit, please help me find you. Please help me love you and obey you. Please help me with my disbelief. Encourage me to keep seeking You. In Jesus's name I pray, Amen." Try it. It can't hurt. "Amen" means "God's Will be done, so be it", not "goodbye". Try to pray every day - in fact, try to be constantly in prayer. Sometimes you can just close your eyes and put your hands together and sit in the silence, listening. Your soul will pray, and God will hear you and answer. He knows what's on your heart and mind and soul before you even pray, but pray anyways. Love yourself.

Thats all for now. I might make another blog post called "Seeking God: part 2" later. Love,
Rebecca :) <3

Bible Study 9.1.2016

""When I heard these things, I sat down and wept" (Nehemiah 1:4) When people become evil and refuse to listen to God and refuse to accept His sacrifice, it makes us sad. Tears come. Nehemiah writes, "Lord, let your ear be attentive to the prayer of your servant, who delight in revering Your Name. Give Your servant success today by granting him favor in the presence of this man" (Nehemiah 1:11). God gives His adopted children good gifts. In John, the prophet writes, "Give glory to God by telling the truth" (John 9:24b). In Chronicles, the prophet proclaims, "He is good. His Love endures forever." (2 Chronicles 7:3b) God is Good. His Goodness is everlasting and pure.
Later in 2 Chronicles, the prophet writes, "If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will forgive their sins and heal their land. Now My ears will be open and My Ears will be attentive to the prayers offered in this place" (2 Chronicles 7:14-15). God wants prayers offered - He doesn't want His people to offer and kill animals or people. In 2 Chronicles, it says, "My Eyes and My Heart will always be there." (2 Chronicles 7:16b) In Malachi, God writes, "But for you who revere My name, the sun of righteousness will rise with healing in its rays" (Malachi 4:20). When we revere God - hold Him in high esteem -He will give us true love (agape), and we will love ourselves more.
God is the source of our uniqueness. Think about it: What's the point of doing it different? God wants us to live a life different from that of nonbelievers. He wants us to pray and meditate and believe every day. Studying the Holy Bible is Worship. Worship every day, not just on Sunday morning. Sunday is a day of rest, so devote that whole day to Worship. John says, "Why are you angry with me for healing a man's whole body on the Sabbath? Stop judging by mere appearances, but instead judge correctly" (John 7:23-24). Only God can judge correctly. God told me, "Do not judge." When we judge, we are judge the same way. God is a fair, loving God. He wants you to be happy, filled with His Spirit of Joy. He doesn't want us to feel like the things we do are empty and meaningless.
So, read the Holy Bible every day. Study it. Ask God what it means. Let it fill you with God's Loving Joy,

Love,
Rebecca :)
